The Bowling Green Hot Rods announced today $2 million will be spent in the offseason to make improvements at Bowling Green Ballpark. New Hot Rods owner Jack Blackstock says the improvements include a new HD scoreboard and LED board.
The ballpark improvement plan will also complete the 360-degree walkway around Bowling Green Ballpark. With the walkway completed there will be a new “Splash Zone” constructed for kids behind the centerfield wall. The 1500 square foot splash zone will be a zero-entry splash area featuring a 10-foot-tall water fountain shaped like a baseball bat and ball.
The final major project will be on the suite level focusing on the Reinhart Club. The Reinhart Club will be completely reconfigured, expanding the usable space by over 35%, allowing it to be used year round for a variety of events.
