Former Christian County Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Boling will claim that title again after defeating incumbent Lynn Pryor in the general election.
Boling ran as a Republican against Pryor and defeated her by 2,361 votes. Boling says he is excited to get to work and will begin preparing this week for when he takes office in January.
Pryor says she is disappointed in the loss and she’s not sure what comes next, but she thanked everyone who supported her and says she can she can hold her head up high.
The two faced off before in 2006, with Pryor victorious at that time.
