A pair of Kentucky players were honored for their play in Saturday’s 28-7 win over Mississippi State by the Southeastern Conference today. Defensive lineman Josh Allen was named the SEC Defensive Player of the Week. Allen had six tackles and a quarterback sack against the Bulldogs.
Meanwhile, offensive lineman Jervontius Stallings received Offensive Lineman of the Week honors. Stallings had four knockdown blocks and 21 blocks at the point of attack; no penalties nor missed assignments and did not allow a quarterback sack.
