A medical condition was likely a factor in a single-vehicle accident Tuesday morning on East Ninth Street.
The Hopkoinsville Police report says 56-year old Bobby Mullen of Hopkinsville was headed east near Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church about 9 a.m. when he veered off the road and struck a sign and utility pole.
Mullen said his insulin had made him drowsy and he did not remember going off the road.
He was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
