Greenville firetruck involved in accident

A Greenville Fire Department truck was involved in an accident Memorial Day that injured two occupants of the other vehicle.

Kentucky State Police investigated the incident that happened on Bancroft Road and say that 35-year old Aaron Colburn of Greenville was attempting to make a left turn onto Roland Drive and that the firetruck driven by Maurice Marshall of Greenville was attempting to pass the car.

The firetruck collided with the car, causing both vehicles to leave the roadway.

Colburn and his passenger, Wendell Colburn of Greenville, were taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Marshall and his passenger were not hurt.
