The Courier Journal reports the University of Louisville’s Athletic Association team of lawyers asked former coach Rick Pitino to admit agent Christian Dawkins was at practice nine days before he was charged in the college basketball recruiting scandal. It’s one of 53 “requests for admission” filed on Monday as part of the breach of contract suit Pitino filed last year after being fired. Pitino’s lawyer, Steve Pence, told the Courier Journal today Pitino has never admitted to allowing Dawkins to attend a practice and will file a document to that affect later this week.
