The New York Mets found a taker for Matt Harvey, sending the former ace to the Cincinnati Reds for catcher Devin Mesoraco. Harvey was designated for assignment Saturday after he refused to go to the minor leagues following a demotion to the bullpen. Reds manager Jim Riggleman talks about adding Harvey:
Mesoraco appeared against his former team as a pinch hitter last night. Harvey will join the Reds later this week in Los Angeles.
