There will be a ceremonial groundbreaking for the new Holiday Inn at the Bruce Convention Center on the same morning the new Interstate 169 signs are unveiled.
Ground will be broken at 11 a.m. Monday, April 23 for the 100-room, full service hotel on Lovers Lane, according to a news release from the city.
Conference Center Board Chairman Darrell Gustafson says, “This significant milestone marks the realization of a long-term goal of the Convention Center board of directors thanks to the growth and marketability of our venue.”
The I-169 unveiling is set for that morning at 10 at the Bruce Center.
