Pennyrile Electric sent teams to northern Kentucky Monday morning to assist in restoring power to those affected by the winter storm that hit Sunday night.
Five Pennyrile Electric linemen travelled to London, Kentucky to assist Jackson Energy in bring electricity back. Manager of Operations Mike Stokes says, “Jackson Energy was hit pretty hard with outages due to the winter storm that passed through the service area.”
As of this morning, the cooperative in London had 6,000 members without power. Crews are expected to return home later this week.
