Jonathan Stark had 22 points on six three pointers, freshman Ja Morant had 16 points and Terrell Miller, Jr. had his eighth doubles night of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds as Murray State cruised by Eastern Kentucky 88-73 at the CFSB Center. The Racers are now 16-5/8-2 in the OVC and will play at Southeast Missouri in a men’s/women’s doubleheader Thursday night.
The Murray State women used a 65.3 percent first-half shooting performance and an incredible 26-28 night at the free throw line on its way to a 75-68 victory over EKU. Ke’Shunan James led the way with 25 points and also added a team-best eight rebounds and had three steals. The Racers are now 8-13/4-6 in the OVC.
