A wreck on Interstate 24 between a paint truck and a tractor-trailer resulted in minor injuries Tuesday afternoon.

According to Christian County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer John Godsey, the wreck occurred in the westbound lanes of the interstate around the 71-mile marker when a tractor-trailer rear-ended a paint truck that was painting lines on the road. The collision pushed the paint truck into the median.

The driver of the paint truck was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for minor injuries according to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers. Westbound traffic around the wreck was reduced to one lane.
