Numerous regional clinics are set to unite under the Jennie Stuart Health and Deaconess umbrella, with JSH announcing the acquisition of those healthcare campuses on Friday.
In a news release, Jennie Stuart Health states the move will expand access to patient driven, high quality healthcare across the region, bringing Hopkinsville Family Care, the Crofton Clinic, Elkton Clinic, Generations Primary Care, Western Kentucky Pulmonary Clinic and MDVIP into the Jennie Stuart Health system. These clinics will continue to operate at their current locations, while becoming a part of JSH.
Patients will still continue to see their same healthcare provider and staff with no interruption to care, and medical records will remain secure and accessible to patients during this transition.
The hope is that, in the future, patients will be able to benefit from enhanced access to specialists and expanded services. JSH Chief Administrative Officer Eric Lee says, “Bringing these clinics into Jennie Stuart Health allows us to strengthen access to care, better connect services across our network, and ensure patients continue receiving the personalized care they deserve. We are excited to welcome these outstanding providers and their teams. Together, we are building a stronger healthcare system that supports the health and well-being of our
communities for generations to come.
