CCHS’s Turner selected to play in East-West All-Star Games

Christian County High School pitcher Jordan Turner has been selected to play for the West Junior All-Stars this weekend in the annual East-West All-Star softball games at North Laurel High School in London. 

Turner, a right-hander, pitched 139 innnings this season and had a 3.07 ERA. She struck out 119 and walked 25 while accumulating a 14-7 record for the Lady Colonels. 

The other Region 2 players on the West Junior team include Livingston Central’s Irelynn Burns, Lyon County’s Olivia Moore, and Webster County’s Alyssa Cartwright. 

The team will be coached by Muhlenberg County’s Wesley Davenport. 

The Junior All-Star game is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday and the Senior game is set for 12:30 p.m. Following the Senior game, the 2026 Miss Kentucky Softball Award and All-State team will be introduced. The region players of the year and coaches of the year also will be announced. 

Hall of Fame ceremonies are planned for Saturday night. 

 On Sunday, the Junior game is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
