The Christian County Chamber of Commerce is getting ready to host their 137th annual Dinner in June, and the President and CEO is reflecting on the Chamber’s history in this community.
The dinner is set to take place June 11 starting at 6 p.m. at the James E. Bruce Convention Center, and speaking with WHOP Radio Friday, Chamber President and CEO Taylor Hayes says they have a fun evening planned. Instead of one keynote speaker, Hayes says this dinner will have several speakers, talking on numerous different areas of importance in the community.
The theme for this year’s dinner is “Rooted in Community, Growing our Future” and Hayes says as the country as a whole is looking back on its history this year, he’s been looking back on the history of the Chamber and local businesses.
He says it’s hard to deny that Hopkinsville and Christian County are experiencing growth in business, and they’ll highlight some of that achievement at the dinner.
While the dinner starts at 6 p.m., there’s a reception that begins at 5 p.m. To register to attend, visit the Christian County Chamber of Commerce website.
