Following University Heights Academy’s 12-1 win over Christian County in the Region 2 Baseball Tournament championship Thursday night at Chris Simmons Field, the members of the All-Region 2 Team were announced.
The champion Blazers had five players on the team. They included AJ Hogart, Cadence Gibson, Hayden Hunt, Jackson Flynn, and Jaiden Miles.
Christian County was represented by Gage Montes and Sebastian Dazey.
Other members of the team included Madisonville’s Alex Richards and Blake Prow, Caldwell County’s Ari Wells and Drew Stevens, Henderson County’s Brody Belt and Maddox Golday, Union County’s Damon Utley, Lyon County’s Hudson Phillips, Webster County’s Jameson Newton, Hopkins County Central’s Neilan Bruce, and Crittenden County’s Quinn Summers.
