Starting Monday, a bridge replacement project will get underway along Pleasant Hill Church Road in Trigg County, which means a portion of the road will need to be closed.
According to a news release, crews will need to closed the road at approximately two miles west of KY 139 in Trigg County, so a new bridge can be built over Burge Creek at just about the 2-mile-point, near Old Dover Road.
Trigg County was awarded $450,000 for this bridge replacement project through the County-City Bridge Improvement Program and the hope is to have it completed by the end of August, weather permitting.
Motorists are asked to self detour.
