Former Hopkinsville High School pitcher Preston Chaudoin earned his first start of the year for Murray State on Wednesday afternoon during a midweek game against Ole Miss.
The right-handed redshirt junior hurler went one inning, striking out one and walking three. Chaudoin allowed two earned runs and suffered the pitching loss as the Rebels went on to claim a 19-2 win. It was a rematch of the 2025 Oxford Regional.
Chaudoin is 0-1 this season with a 4.91 ERA. He has made 11 appearances with 11 strikeouts and nine walks.
