Kentucky State Police arrested an Elkton man for the shooting death of 24-year-old Evan Hall of Guthrie on Sunday.
According to police, the shooting happened around 9:20 a.m. Sunday morning. Following the incident, officers reportedly found Hall lying in the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds on Springmont Circle in Guthrie. Officers later arrested 24-year-old Jerell Edmonds of Elkton as the suspect responsible for the shooting and charged him with murder, fourth-degree assault and possession of marijuana.
A second victim at the scene appeared to have also received injuries from Edmonds. The investigation is ongoing and those with information are asked to call KSP at 270-676-3313.
