Planters Bank invites aspiring business owners to its SEED Summit

Planters Bank is inviting current and prospective business owners to its annual Startup Economic and Entrepreneur Development (SEED) Summit to learn some of the ins and outs of business ownership.

Sydney Myers from Planters Bank says the summit will feature multiple speakers spotlighting their experiences as business owners, vendor spaces and networking sessions.

The summit’s speakers include Erika Sinner, the founder and CEO of Directorie; Rosemary Calcese, a real estate attorney and entrepreneur; Sarah Whitaker, the CEO and owner of Williams Advertising; Eric Coleman, a retired business executive with over 25 years of experience and Chris Wooldridge, an instructor at Murray State University’s Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business.

Sinner is the summit’s keynote speaker, and she will be discussing her journey to becoming a business owner and CEO. Then Myers says Calcese, Wooldridge and Coleman will host a few breakout sessions providing advice to aspiring and current business owners.

The summit starts at 8 a.m. on February 20 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Clarksville. Tickets cost $25 and Myers says those funds will be donated to the United Way of Clarksville and the United Way of Kentucky.

Tickets for the summit are available at plantersbankonline.com.
