A two-vehicle wreck occurred on Crofton Fire Tower Road Wednesday morning as the result of slick driving conditions.
David Baker of Lewisburg was driving north on the road and a car driven by Jatraevionn Thornton of Hopkinsville followed. While navigating a slight curve, Baker told first responders that his car suddenly jerked to the left cause it to run off the roadway and into an embankment. Thornton then reportedly lost traction on the on the roadway.
Thornton’s car followed Baker’s car off the roadway and the pair collided. Thornton and a passenger in his car were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for possible injuries.
