The Christian County and Hopkinsville high school girls’ wrestling teams took part in the Henderson County Lady Colonel Tournament last weekend.
The Lady Colonels’ Avah Miller won the 165-pound championship with three wins, including two pins. Miller also took home the Most Outstanding Wrestler award.
Kira Caldwell took third place at 185 pounds with a 2-1 record and two pins.
Serenity Avalos and Rhyn Trahan also picked up a win each.
For Hopkinsville, Rheanna Walker went 3-1 with three pins and took second place at 120 pounds.
Isabell Walker went 3-1 with three pins and took third place at 114 pounds.
Emma DeArmond also had a win for the Lady Tigers.
