Hopkinsville High School Holds Final Football Banquet

Hopkinsville High School held their final football banquet on Sunday night at the UK Extension office. Coaches, players, parents and other supporters of the program were there to honor this year’s team that finished the season at 7 and 5.

Award Winners:

James Bradley Jr.- Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of The Year

Foster Jackson- Defensive Player of The Year, Craig Clayton Award, Jerry Claiborne Award and The Academic Award.

Kavon Johnson- Offensive Lineman of The Year and Mike McGee Award

Most Outstanding Freshmen Skill Player- CJ Smith

Most Outstanding Freshmen Lineman- Conner Harris

JV Player of the Year- Tavares Burgess

Scout Team Player of The Year- Kyrien Cannon

Most Improved Award- Brayden Dowlen

Game Guy Award- De’Andre Watkins

Offensive Back Award- Aiden Jeese

Special Teams Award- Gavin Harton

Defensive Back Award- Tremayne Clay

Bud Hudson Award- Carlo Jones

Front 7 Award- Jordan Duerson

Hopkinsville will merge with Christian Co. next season to form The Christian Co. Tigers. Former Hopkinsville Head Coach Dustin Lopez has been named the new coach for The Christian Co. Tigers.
