Big 2nd half carries Murray State past Morehead

Murray State placed six players in double figures and rolled past visiting Morehead State 84-52 in a men’s college basketball game on Tuesday night.

Javon Jackson led the way for the Racers with 14 points and Fred King added 12.

Murray, which improved to 6-3, put the game away with a 20-2 run in the second half.

Roman Domon, Mathis Courbon, and KJ Tenner each added 10 points for the Racers, who won their sixth straight home game. Murray returns to action Saturday at 2 p.m. against Bellarmine in the CFSB Center. The Racers will retire the No. 31 jersey of Isaac Spencer.
