The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a woman was struck by a vehicle and killed on Pilot Rock Road Friday afternoon.
It happened around 2:10 p.m. in the 12000 block of Pilot Rock Road when a 72-year-old female victim was struck by a vehicle. Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers says the victim was unresponsive and not breathing when they arrived at the scene. The wreck occurred in a field off of Pilot Rock Road.
The Christian County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene, and Deputy Coroner Christy Adams has identified the victim as 72-year-old Sheila Faughn.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office will release more information as it becomes available.
