The Clarksville Police Department is investigating after a person was shot on Thanksgiving Day at a location on Heritage Pointe Circle.
According to a news release, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of Heritage Pointe, and upon arrival, they found a 22-year-old male victim suffering with a gunshot wound.
Officers immediately began CPR and other lifesaving measures until EMS arrived and transported the victim to Tennova Healthcare, where his condition is currently unknown.
A person of interest has been detained and this appears to have been an isolated incident.
No names have yet been released—anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 911.
