Pioneers, Inc. is back with their Thanksgiving tradition for handing out free Thanksgiving meals to the community on Thursday morning.
Pioneers, Inc. has been providing this service since 1984, started by former Pioneer President Walter Smith, with a focus on bringing people together and taking care of the less fortunate. They’ll be serving to-go plates from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Thanksgiving morning at their location at 904 North Main Street.
This has a history of being greatly attended, with hundreds of meals served, and officials are thinking they could hand out upwards of 800 meals.
The meal will have all the holiday classics, and this is a drive-through service, with no dine-in option.
