Concrete work to start Dec. 1 on I-24 near Cadiz

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is giving motorists a heads up that there will be a daytime lane restriction along I-24 in Trigg County starting on December 1.

According to a news release, the restriction will take place near Exit 65 at Cadiz, starting that Monday morning, while crews begin concrete patching in the westbound lanes between mile-markers 68 and 66.

Motorists need to be alert for signage and expect traffic to be reduced to one lane. Work is expected to last roughly two weeks, weather permitting.

Additional concrete work will follow this phase of work along I-24.
