The Hopkinsville Fire Department is gearing up for the grand opening of their newest fire station, which means it will need a leadership team—and now, three department members have been promoted.
According to a news release, Lewis Leavell has been promoted to rank of Lieutenant, Bryce Bicksler was promoted to Lieutenant and Lane Thomas was also promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, and all through will serve as Station Five’s Officer Corps moving forward.
Leavell was hired in 2018 as a firefighter and EMT, and most recently served as an acting lieutenant and engineer on Battalion 2.
Bicksler was hired in 2018 and is currently the lead arson investigator for the department.
Thomas was hired as a firefighter and EMT in 2019, and most recently was serving as a back-up engineer and acting lieutenant for Battalion 1.
