Former Christian County High School football star Corey Trice Jr.’s comeback from a hamstring injury that has kept him out all of the 2025 Pittsburgh Steelers’ season suffered a setback.
According to a report on ESPN.com, Trice suffered a knee injury last week that will sideline him for several more weeks.
His rookie season, Trice tore his ACL during training camp and missed the entire season. Last year, he suffered a hamstring injury that landed him on Injured Reserve for all but six games. And this year, the same thing happened.
Trice had only practiced twice since his return from the Injured Reserve when he suffered the knee injury.
According to ESPN, the Steelers would need to shut Trice down for the remainder of the year if he isn’t activated within the 21-day window. Right now, it’s a guess on whether or not he’ll actually return to the 53-man roster.
