A Christian County Grand Jury returned several indictments on Friday, including for robbery charges against two Hopkinsville men.
Indicted for first-degree robbery is 19-year-old Kenji White of Hopkinsville—he is accused of holding two individuals at gunpoint on Charlie Court in September and robbing them. As previously reported, White and another suspect reportedly wore ski masks and possessed AR style rifles.
White and the juvenile pointed the firearms at the victims and demanded that they hand over their handguns. Once the victims gave up their handguns, White and the juvenile fled from the scene. Following some investigation, officers identified and located White, who allegedly attempted to flee before being taken into custody.
White reportedly told officers the location of the stolen handguns. The handguns found matched the descriptions given by the victims.
The grand jury indicted 50-year-old Jason Dunham of Hopkinsville for second-degree robbery, tampering with physical evidence and public intoxication. Dunham allegedly used or threatened to use physical force against a victim in August of this year, while committing a theft while manifestly under the influence of a substance. He also allegedly attempted to conceal or alter physical evidence that he knew could be used against him in a court proceeding.
