Snyder found not guilty in 2024 death of Khalil Buckner

After a trial that began on Monday, and hearing all the evidence and witness testimony—Kamron Snyder has been found not guilty in the murder of Khalil Buckner.

Snyder was in front of a jury facing a charge of first-degree murder, accused in the February 2024 shooting death of Buckner that happened on North McPherson Avenue. Buckner had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, where he would ultimately succumb to his injuries.

After lawyers were unable to come to an agree in mediation held earlier this year, they went to trial on October 13, with Snyder represented by defense attorney Sean Pharr.

The jury ultimately found Snyder not guilty—he was released from the Christian County Jail on Thursday.
