The University Heights Academy cross country team ran to a third-place finish Saturday at the Arrowhead Invitational at Union County High School.
Freshman Graham Conrad led the Blazers in the boys’ 5,000-meter race with a time of 18:03. Conrad finished eighth overall.
Junior Jude Finch was close behind Conrad, taking 12th at 18:29. Eighth grader Ronan Croney-Sallie notched a 23rd-place finish at 19:09 and fellow eighth grader Scar Venable ran his second fastest meet of the season. Venable finished 42nd with a 20:14 finish.
Senior Zech Davis had a solid race, taking 44th place with a time of 20:20. Eighth grader Lucas Stine ran well, finishing in 24:25 and a 79th-place finish.
In the Elementary Mile, Lewis Conrad finished eighth in a time of 7:10.
