Downtown Trick-or-Treating returns to Hopkinsville on Halloween

It’s time again for the streets to be lined with little ghosts and ghouls, as trick-or-treaters will line the streets of Hopkinsville for Downtown Trick-or-Treating.

Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation is bringing back this holiday favorite on Friday, October 31st—Halloween itself—and the festivities will start at 3:30 p.m. Downtown merchants and local organizations will be set up alongside South Main Street, stretching from East Sixth Street to East 13th Street.  The road will be closed in those areas, including East Ninth Street to Virginia Street.

Those merchants will be handing out candies and goodies to trick-or-treaters until 5:30 p.m. Children under the ages of 12 should bring an adult to supervise, and make sure to bring your own bags.

No parking will be allowed on South Main Street between East Seventh and East 13th Streets after 3 p.m. on Halloween.
