Coats leads Colonels’ runners at Logan County

Christian County High School was represented at the Logan County Cougar Run on Saturday in Russellville

Christian County’s Lucas Coats paced the Colonels’ efforts with a 33rd-place finish in a time of 19:43.08. Teammate Bryce Hamlin challenged him the whole race and finished 34th in a time of 19.43.37.

Cash Taggart ran 145th and Josh Pitts finished in 34:30 in the 5K Boys’ Varsity Race.

In the Boys’ 2,000-meter run, Elliot Davidson crossed the finish line in 19th place in a time of 9:44.79. Garrett Clark was 21st in 9:53.

Malachi Acree and Colton Chapman took 25th and 31st in times of 10:28 and 10:58, respectively.

In the Girls’ 5K Varsity Race, Aubree Cline pace the Lady Colonels with a 67th-place finish in a time of 27:38. Lilly Collins finished 93rd in 31:46.

In the Girls’ 2,000-meter Run, Eliza McLoughlin earned a top-10 finish, taking ninth place in 9:28.45. Other Lady Colonels in the Elementary School race included Kaylyn Jorgensen (17th, 10:15), Mariah Gbemudu (25th, 10:44), and Camille Hall (29th, 11:00).

Gracelyn Clark ran seventh in the Girls’ 2-mile Middle School Race with a time of 16:21.75.
