The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating an assault that was reported on Park Avenue Monday night.
According to the incident report, it happened around 5:30 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of Park Avenue, when a female victim was intentionally assaulted by suspect, causing serious physical injury.
No suspects are listed on the report, and the incident is being investigated as second-degree assault.
