The Hopkinsville Tigers and University Heights Academy Blazers met Tuesday night at the Stadium of Champions with the top spot in the District 8 soccer standings on the line.
A thunderstorm rolled in with 2:26 remaining in the first half and halted the game, which was scoreless.
Neither team generated much of a scoring opportunity in the game as the defenses dominated play.
The game will resume tonight. The schools were expected to decide later today on a time for the game.
