A Lafayette teenager was flown to a Nashville hospital following a single-vehicle crash on Binns Mill Road Saturday afternoon.
According to the report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle operated by the 17-year-old driver had been heading westbound on Binns Mill when he lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason and went off the roadway. The vehicle continued into the ditch and then hit a culvert.
The impact caused the vehicle to go airborne and flip at least twice for coming to a stop.
The teen was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for a suspected head injury and other injuries.
