Asphalt patching work starts this week on several roadways in Trigg County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is set to begin asphalt patching work in Trigg County, which could result in possible road closures as needed.

According to a news release, work will start this week on Montgomery Church Road between Dunkerson Road and Rocky Ridge Road. Crews will work during the daylight hours, so motorists should be on the watch for a brief road closure.

Other roadways will also get some patching work done, including a portion of KY 272 near Glenwood Mill Road, Will Jackson Road between Alexande Road and Reddick Pond Road, Blackhawk Road near Hopson Store Road, KY 1585 near the county line and South Road near the KY 164 intersection.

Motorists are asked to use appropriate caution where personnel and equipment are close to the roadway.
