The Hopkinsville Lady Tigers ran into a buzz-saw Monday night at Calloway County as the Lady Lakers shut out the visitors 8-0.
Jaleigha McFarland had 25 saves in goal for the Lady Tigers, who played without three starters in the game.
“We had three starters out but that isn’t what happened tonight,” Hoptown coach Jeff Addison said. “They are the best team we have seen this year.”
Hoptown slipped to 5-7 on the season while Calloway improved to 10-0.
The Lady Tigers are back in action Thursday at home against Lyon County.
