Led by the play of Campbell Lindsey and Allie Sandifer, the University Heights Academy girls’ golf team took third place in the All “A” Classic State Golf Tournament Saturday at the University Club in Richmond.
Lindsey shot an 85 and took 11th place and Sandifer finished with an 89 to take 17th.
Caroline Tucker (92) and Ella Perry (33) shot a 92 and 100, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Blazers’ golf team finished ninth place in the Boys’ All “A” Classic State Golf Tournament Saturday at Gibson Bay in Richmond.
Hayden Hunt shot a 1-under par 71 to finish sixth, two shots behind Hazard’s Brayden Baker.
Cal Givens had an 80 to take 50th. Hugh Sisk carded an 82 to finish 62nd. Bryson Turner (86) and Courtland Gibson (87) finished 76th and 80th, respectively.
