Hopkinsville Police arrested 19-year-old Kenji White of Hopkinsville after he and a juvenile suspect reportedly robbed two victims at gunpoint on Tuesday.
Tuesday night, White and the juvenile reportedly approached the victims near an apartment building in the 300 block of Charlie Court. The pair reportedly wore ski masks and possessed AR style rifles.
White and the juvenile pointed the firearms at the victims and demanded that they hand over their handguns. Once the victims gave up their handguns, White and the juvenile fled from the scene.
A witness to the robbery recognized the juvenile and provided their address to law enforcement. Officers located White and the juvenile on Gale Lane and they attempted to flee before they were apprehended.
White reportedly told officers the location of the stolen handguns. The handguns found matched the descriptions given by the victims. White was charged with first-degree robbery facilitation.
