Kaydon Coats scored a pair of goals and the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers won their third straight girls’ high school soccer match Thursday night with a 2-1 victory over host Muhlenberg County.
The Lady Tigers’ junior has 10 goals on the season already and helped Hoptown improve to 4-2 on the season.
Emma Dearmond and Azaa Enkhtugs each provided an assist for the Lady Tigers, who outshot the Mustangs 30-2 in the game.
Hopkinsville will play host to University Heights Academy Saturday morning at 10 a.m. in a District 8 showdown at the Stadium of Champions.
