According to the Clarksville Police Department, officers responded to Mizu Japanese Cuisine just before 7:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting and upon arrival, located a male victim with a gunshot wound.

Officers conducted CPR on the victim until EMS arrived—the victim was transported to Tennova Healthcare, where he would die of his injuries.

Roughly ten minutes later, a second 911 call came in from a residence on Cabot Cove, and officers located another male victim there with a gunshot wound. Once again, CPR was conducted until EMS was able to arrive. This victim also died of their injuries.
