The Hopkins County Humane Society is putting out the call for help—they need to find homes for 17 animals housed there in the next 30 days before the building is demolished.
According to the Humane Society, the facility located at 2210 Laffoon Trail in Hopkins County is scheduled for demolition due to irreparable damage caused by storms, along with building code issues. They have been given 30 days to find homes for the animals that are still in their care before demolition begins.
There are plans in place for a new, modern shelter building to be constructed—but until then, these animals need a home of their own.
Officials are asking if you can, adopt and provide a permanent home to one of the remaining animals, and if you can’t, spread the word to help reach more potential adopters.
You can find what animals remain by going online to hopkinscountyhumanesociety.com or visit the Hopkins County Humane Society on Facebook.
