The annual U.S. Highway 41 Yard Sale is coming back to western Kentucky and folks are invited to set up booths and shop along the 150-mile-long roadway.
Yard sales are set to pop up along Highway 41 in Todd, Christian, Hopkins, Webster and Henderson Counties on June 27 and June 28. For people setting up a yard sale, Amy Rogers the Executive Director of Visit Hopkinsville says they can come to the Visitors Center to get a yard sale sign and to be added to the digital map.
Closer to the time of the yard sale, Rogers says a Google map of all the participating locations will be available at Highway 41 Yard Sale on Facebook. Rogers calls the event a two-for-one. People can shop along the yard sale trail while exploring different communities.
The annual yard sale is in its 14th year and Rogers says she enjoys working with neighboring tourism agencies to continue hosting the event.
Those interested in participating in or learning more about the yard sale can contact the Hopkinsville Visitors Center at 270-887-2300. The yard sale also coincides with the West Kentucky Antique and Vintage Market at the West Kentucky Archery Complex.
