McGee picks up pitching win for Sounds on Sunday

Former Hopkinsville High School pitcher Easton McGee picked up his fourth win of the season in relief on Sunday as the Nashville Sounds defeated the Iowa Cubs 1-0 at First Horizon Park.

The 6-foot-6 right-hander pitched two-thirds of an inning and did not allow a baserunner. McGee lowed his ERA to 3.33 for the season.

Anthony Seigler drove in the go-ahead run with an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Craig Yoho earned his fourth save for the Sounds, who will play Jacksonville on Tuesday.
