The Brice Long Back2Back Foundation is set to return to the Alhambra Theatre in July—and tickets go on sale Friday.
The concert is an annual tradition in the community, as country music artist and songwriter Brice Long returns home each year to raise funds for the Back2Back Foundation. He founded the Foundation 21 years ago now, and since then, it’s been helping families in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties that are in need have a great Christmas.
Long says that’s not all they focus on these days though, because thanks to the generosity of the community and individuals within it, they’re now able to help out with good causes all throughout the year.
All money raised during the benefit concert goes right back into helping those who need it in this part of western Kentucky, and Long says all of it stays local. He says this year’s concert will be a return to the showcasing of songwriters and their talent, and he personally thinks it’s a stellar line up this year.
That line up of talent includes Marv Green, Ryan Larkins and Trannie Anderson—and Long says they all bring something truly special to the show.
You may recognize their names attached to some of your favorite hits, including “Amazed”, “I Called Mama”, “The Painter” and “Heart Like A Truck”.
You can get your tickets on the Pennyroyal Arts Council website starting Friday, and make sure grab yourself one, because they’ll likely go fast. The benefit concert is set to take place July 12 starting at 7 p.m.
