A garage was badly damaged by fire Wednesday afternoon on Marietta Drive.
According to the Hopkinsville Fire and EMS, the call came in just after 4 p.m. that a detached garage was on fire in the 400 block of Marietta. Firefighters arrived within minutes and found a fire that had worked its way into the roof of the garage.
Crews were able to get the blaze under control within one minute of arriving—no injuries were reported either firefighters or citizens.
The cause of the blaze is currently unknown.
