Focus 21st Century celebrates 2025 graduating class

Focus 21st Century is celebrating the graduation of their 2025 class, and they handed out awards and honored graduates at a ceremony last weekend.

According to a news release, it was a full house at the Pioneer’s Memorial Complex, with Hopkinsville Community College President and CEO Dr. Alissa Young serving as the keynote speaker—Dr. Young is a 1991 graduate of the charter class for Focus 21st Century.

Focus 21st Century is a minority leadership program and nine members graduated, including Dayatra Coleman, Production Associate at T.RAD, Minister Mitchell Fort II, Associate Minister and Musician at Virginia Street Baptist Church, Naytrismis Harris, Team Member at Tom Bell-State Farm Insurance, Lynnette Nolan, Assembly Production at T-GASK, Tamisha Nolan, Quality Leader at T-GASK, Tashay Nolan, Certified Nursing Assistant at Jennie Stuart Health, Melissa Russell, Fifth Grade Math Teacher at Freedom Elementary School, Jerimine Smith, Production Tech at Metalsa and Angelique Victor, the owner of Ol Skool Graphics.

The Focus Spirit Award went to Minister Mitchell O. Fort II, who was recognized as being motivated, inspired, encouraging of others, and showed tremendous dedication during the eight-month program with perfect attendance.
