Heads up to those Pennyrile Electric members served by the Pee Dee substation—there will be a planned power outage this Sunday to allow for the installation of equipment.
According to a news release, that station serves roughly 2,300 members in the southern Christian County area. The planned outage will start at 12 a.m. early Sunday morning, and last approximately four hours.
The work being done includes installing new regulators within the Pee Dee Substation, along with changing out two utility poles located just outside of the substation.
